Lenten Rice Bowl Suppers - Fridays

Lenten Rice Bowl Suppers-Again this year we will offer Friday evening Rice Bowl evenings as a way to connect with our neighbors around the world.  Each evening includes a simple meal provided by the Knights of Columbus.  We reflect on those less fortunate as we are introduced to families in Third World countries selected by Catholic Relief Services.  We sample foods that our far-away neighbors typically eat, and we learn what hopes and trials needy families encounter.  Last year’s presentations by students from St. Michael School were a big hit.  We hope the students will be back this year.  Prepare to experience the cultures of India, Zambia, Mexico, Ethiopia, and El Salvador.
