Confirmation is one of the three Sacraments of Initiation (along with Baptism and Holy Communion). Through Confirmation, the baptized are anointed with the sacred chrism and sealed with the Holy Spirit, receiving strength to live their Catholic faith more fully, boldly, and joyfully.
It is not a graduation—but a beginning. It empowers young people to embrace their faith as their own and to live as active, Spirit-filled members of the Church.
