Three-day St. Jude Mission of Hope and Mercy
Where there is Prayer, there is Hope!
Life can be difficult. But God sent His Son Jesus to teach us that, in spite of our troubles, His mercy is always present and it can give us hope especially during the Easter season.
Pope Francis declared this a Jubilee Year of Mercy. Starting on Thursday March 31st and ending at the vigil Mass of Divine Mercy Sunday on April 2nd, please join us at St. Michael Catholic Church in Snohomish, WA as we explore the way St. Jude’s apostolate of Hope fits with God’s plan of Divine Mercy and the Joy of Easter. At 7PM on Thursday and Friday and at 4:30 PM on Saturday, Fr. Michail Ford, O.P., director of the Dominican Shrine of St. Jude Thaddeus in Chicago, IL, will celebrate Mass starting with Divine Mercy and St. Jude devotions and conclude with veneration of the Arm Relic of St. Jude. After Mass on Friday, participants can receive a special St. Jude blessing and St. Jude oil. On Saturday, April 2 we will celebrate the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick during Mass. Fr. Mike will bring the Arm Relic of St. Jude, which is normally on display in Chicago. It is reported to be the largest relic of one of the 12 Apostles outside of Rome. This will be the first time the Relic has traveled to Washington and the Seattle area.
