In order to be baptized, we ask that you are registered and participating with St. Michael Parish for a minimum of 6 months prior to the baptism. Parents and Godparents must attend a baptism preparation class. Baptism Classes are offered in English and in Spanish. Please call the office to register for a baptism class.
Children are eligible to make their First Communion when they are in second grade or above. There are a few different program offerings including a program for the Hispanic Community. You can find all the program information and register here! Registration for the 2016-17 year is CLOSED to new children. Exceptions will be made for Children who are transfering their prep from a different area.
Youth who are interested in preparing for Confirmation and are 11th-12th graders are encouraged to prayerfully consider this Sacramental Preparation program. More information can be found online here or by contacting our Pastoral Assistant for Faith Formation Mary Anne Murphy. Please look for information this fall for the 2017-18 year.
Adults who are seeking the sacrament of confirmation are invited to participate in a short series of classes, often times on a one-on-one basis. The deepened presence of the Spirit, who comes to us in this sacrament, is meant to sustain us in a lifetime of witness to Christ and service to others. Please call the office to receive additional information about adult confirmation.
Anointing of the sick is offered at the first Saturday evening mass each month. If you are unable to make it to this service, please call the office to schedule a visit. .
Engaged couples who are registered in the parish should contact us at least six months prior to the proposed wedding date. The church requires the preparation for the sacrament of marriage. Please contact us to set up marriage preparations.
When a loved one has passed it is a sad time and one will experience many emotions. We believe that death is not only an end, but also a beginning. Please call our office to let us know of the passing and we will assist you in the steps needed to plan and prepare for a funeral Mass or a memorial, including the burial rite.
